Investigators reported that Brandon was riding a 2008 Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle westbound when, while negotiating a left-hand curve, the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The bike struck a guardrail before colliding with a tree.

Emergency personnel from Neffs Fire and EMS, along with deputies from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, responded quickly to the scene. Despite their efforts, Brandon sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
